Traditional crunchy sweet Italian treats, made with nuts and dried fruit.

more usually called Cantucci in Italy, commonly known as biscotti, named after the traditional method of cooking - baked twice.  

fun fact | biscotti was originally made for travellers and was carried by the Roman Legions to battle.  Today's versions have become popular accompaniments to coffee and Vin Santo.
